The Russian National Sledge Hockey Team becomes the winner of the “New Year Cup” in Podolsk ( Moscow region, Russia)

On December 10, 2012 the Closing Ceremony of the International Sledge Hockey tournament was hold in Podolsk (Moscow region, Russia). International teams from Russia, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Sweden and Estonia competed for the ‘New Year Cup”. The Russian National team became the champion, with winning scores;{nl}{nl}Russia-Sweden – 7:0{nl}Russia – Estonia - 3:1{nl}Russia – Great Britain 16:0{nl}Russia – Czech Republic 3:1{nl}{nl}The second place belongs to Czech Republic, third to Swedish team, Estonia players hold fourth place, and fifth place belongs to players from Great Britain.{nl}{nl}The Closing Ceremony was attended by Lev Seleznev, the President of the Russian Federation for Persons with Physical Disabilities, Julia Vasilieva- the representative of OAO “Megafon” general sponsor of the Russian National Sledge Hockey Team, and Victor Kruglov the head of Physical Culture and Sports Committee of the Podolsk.
