The Russian National Powerlifting Team has won 9 (nine) gold, 4 (four) silver and 3 (three) bronze medals at the International Powerlifting Competitions in Poland.
At the Polish city of Wroslaw the traditional international powerlifting competition for persons with physical impairments was concluded. At the “Silver crossbar” tournament 74 (seventy four) athletes from 4 (four) countries competed for medals.
There were two weight categories- up to 80 (eighty) and over 88 (eighty eight ) kilos.
At the 80 category the Russian athlete Ildar Bedderdinov (Nizhegorodskaya region) won the first place, second place was taken by Vladimir Balunech (Republic of Sakha, Ykutia).
At the 88 category Konstantin Manchev from (Tambovskay region) won second place.
At the competitions among female athletes, the second place was won by Tamara Podpalnaya (Altay region).
The Russian National Team consisted of 16 ( sixteen) athletes, who jointly won won 9 (nine) gold, 4 (four) silver and 3 (three) bronze medals.
