Russian Paralympic riders won four bronze medals at biggest international equestrian tournament for persons with physical impairments in Italy
The Russian National Paralympic Equestrian Team successfully competed at the biggest international tournament for athletes with physical impairments in Somma (Lombardo), Italy.
With the veterinary inspection that passed all the horses signed up for the international event, and the draw that determined the starting order of the participating athletes, the curtain was officially raised on the Paralympic dressage challenge "CPEDI 3 * Somma hosted sixteen (16) international teams from all over the world. Among many participants were athletes form France, Austria, Italy, Portugal. The event, hosted on the grounds of the Riding Club of Casorate Sempione and organised by GEB, got underway with the opening ceremony with live streaming on the official website of FISE from which it will be possible to follow all the scheduled races. The Head Coach of the Russian National Team Evgeniy Rudnev, noted on results of his athletes and outlined chalanges that they faced. Athletes competed for a chance to participate in next forthcoming European Championship and were able to collect four (4) bronze medals and took fourth place in overall team count. Rudnev noted on performances of Vladislav Pronskiy who will reprecent Russia at the European Championship.
