In the city of Cheboksary (the Chuvash Republic), from September 16 to 20, the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments hold the Russian championship in Para Table Tennis among athletes of 6-10 classes.
About 140 athletes from 30 regions of Russia fought for the medals of the competitions in individual and team events.
The winners of the Russian championship in individual events
6th class – Mars Gabdullin (the Republic of Bashkortostan) and Malyak Alieva (the Saratov region)
7th class – Vladimir Anikanov (the Sverdlovsk region) and Vicktoriya Safonova (the Republic of Crimea/Moscow)
8th class – Artem Yakovlev (the Saratov region) and Elena Litvinenko (Saint Petersburg)
9th class – Timurlan Mamazakirov (Moscow) and Olga Gorshkavela (the Yaroslavsk region/Saint Petersburg)
10th class – Pavel Lukyanov (Moscow) and Olesya Bogdanova (the Lipetsk region)
In the team competition among women in classes 6-8, the victory was won by the St. Petersburg team consisting of Elena Litvinenko, Anastasiya Zorina, Fatma Fattakhova and Tetyana Ledovskaya.
In women in classes 9-10, the winner was the team of the Lipetsk region - Olesya Bogdanova and Marina Chizhova.
The national team of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Mars Gabdullin, Dinar Safiullin and Roman Osipov - took the lead among men of 6-7 grades.
In the 8th class, representatives of the Sverdlovsk region Konstantin Kislitsyn, Vladimir Anikanov and Alexander Shchekalev climbed to the top step of the podium.
Among the athletes of the 9-10th classes, the title of the country's champions was won by representatives of the Udmurt Republic - Ivan Davydov, Vladislav Balobanov and Nikita Perevozchikov.
