Vladimir Lukin and Pavel Rozhkov met with the delegation of the Japan’s Cabinet Council representatives in the Russian Paralympic Committee office

The President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, Vladimir Lukin, the Chairman of the Governing Board, the first Vice – President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, Chef of the Mission of the Russian National Team at the VXI Summer Paralympic Games 2020 in Tokyo (Japan), Pavel Rozhkov met with the delegation of the Cabinet Council representatives in the Russian Paralympic Committee office, who are responsible for the preparation of the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020 in Tokyo (Japan).

Participants of this meeting discussed the issues of training events in Japan, organization of training and participation of the Russian Paralympic National Team in the XVI Summer Paralympic Games 2020 in Tokyo (Japan), cooperation after the Paralympic Games 2020 and other issues.

On the Delegation of the Cabinet Council of Japan took part Masahiro Kaneko and Takauki Oxira in the company of the Japanese Embassy Information Department advisor Murotani Masakatsu and interpreter Yulia Melzenova.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice – President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, 3 time Paralympic Champion, Olga Semenova.

Pavel Rozhkov and Olga Semenova showed the Museum of the Paralympic Sport to the members of the Japanese Delegation, told about the history of establishment and development of the Paralympic Movement in Russia, about sports, which are included in program of the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games and about the medals, that were won by Russian athletes.

Later, the meeting between the members of the Japanese Delegation and the coach of the Russian National Wheelchair Fencing Team, the President of Russian Paralympic Fencing Federation, Elena Belkina and 3 time wheelchair fencing world champion, the member of the Governing Board of the IWAS Wheelchair Fencing Committee , Ksenia Ovsyannikova took place.
