The first round of the Russian Wheelchair Basketball championship is being held in the Moscow Region at the Paramonovo Federal Sports and Training Center from 13 to 18 April.
Twelve teams entered the start of the competition, divided into 4 groups at the group stage.
Group A: Krylia Barsa (Republic of Tatarstan), Volga (Ulyanovsk Region) and Kolos (Stavropol Territory).
Group B: Falcon (Moscow), Laman-Az (Chechen Republic) and Impulse (Chelyabinsk Region).
Group C: Chance (Tyumen Oblast), Legion Yugra (KhMAO-Yugra) and Skala (Republic of Dagestan).
Group D: BasKI "TsOP named after V.P. Kondrashin" (St. Petersburg), "Triumph" (Moscow region) and "Locomotive" (Udmurt Republic).

As part of the Russian Wheelchair Basketball Championship, an international online conference will be held: "Wheelchair Basketball in Russia and the USA: Common Problems and Advantages."
It will be attended by 2-time Paralympic wheelchair basketball bronze medalist Will Waller, NWBA vice president, coach and player of the New York Rolling Knicks (NWBA) Martin Ryan, senior coach of the Russian national team in wheelchair basketball Dmitry Olenevsky, participants of the Russian championship, etc.
On April 15, the theme of the conference will be: "How did I come to wheelchair basketball, and how can I help others do it?"
On April 16, modern trends in basketball tactics and strategy will be reviewed.
