"Putin said.{nl}State awards to silver and bronze medalists of the Paralympic Games were handed by Sergei Ivanov , the Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Ivanov.{nl}{nl}We would like to point out, that the Russian National Paralympic Team showed the best results of all previous Games, winning thirty six gold, thirty eight silver and twenty eight bronze medals. The number of total gold medals won. The Russian National Team holds the second place after Chinain the total number of gold medals received. Oksana Savchenko from Bashkortostan become team leader in winning the five gold medals in swimming competitions.
