The Russian National Para Alpine Skiing Team won 1 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals of the European Cup in Switzerland

The Para Alpine Skiing European Cup has ended in St. Moritz.

86 athletes from 16 countries took part in the competition.

On December 18 and 19, 2 Slalom races took place.

Twice silver medals were won by athlete from the Moscow Region Valery Redkozubov with the guide Evgeniy Geroev.

Also, Alexander Alyabyev (Moscow / Sakhalin region) climbed to the third step of the podium in the first Slalom race,

Alexey Bugaev (Moscow / Sakhalin Region) in both medal races in Slalom showed the second result in the first attempt, and in the second he made a mistake and fell out of the race.

Among women in the standing category, Taisya Foryash (the Altai Territory) took the 4th place in the first Slalom race and became 5th in the second race.

The leader of the Russian National Team among women, Varvara Voronchikhina, did not take part in the Slalom races due to an injury sustained in a clash with an Austrian visually impaired athlete Veronica Wagner the day before.
