A record number of athletes submitted applications for participation - 107 athletes from 18 regions of the country - the cities of Moscow, Sevastopol and St. Petersburg, the Primorsky and Perm Territories, the Udmurt and Chuvash Republics, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Vologda, Lipetsk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tambov, Tver and the Tyumen Oblast, as well as the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Outside of the official classification, there will be competitions for children aged 7 to 12 years in the general and free programs.

Traditionally, unofficial competitions will beautify the performances of the ensembles.

Based on the results of the national championship, the composition of the Russian national team will be formed to participate in the 2021 World Cup, which will be held in Korea in November this year.

After the end of the national championship on September 13 and 14, an interregional master class will be held in St. Petersburg under the program "The ABC of Wheelchair Dancing"
