RUSSIAN TEAM 7 GOLD, 7 SILVER, 10 BRONZE MEDALS AND WON WORLD CUP TEAM CLASSIFICATION IN WHEELCHAIR FENCING IN POLAND

In Warsaw (Poland) the World Cup in wheelchair fencing - "Kilinski's Saber" has come to the end.

Representatives of 19 countries of the world competed for medals.

The Russian national team won 7 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze medals and won the team classification of the competition.

The second place in the overall team classification with 4 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals is taken by the Ukrainian team.

3 gold and 1 bronze medals were won by Roman Fedyaev (St. Petersburg). Roman excelled in individual foil and saber competitions in category A, won bronze in swords, and became a winner in swords as a member of the team.

The team also featured Maxim Shaburov (Novosibirsk region), Alexander Kuzyukov (Omsk region) and Artur Yusupov (Krasnodar region).

In addition to the "gold" in the team, Shaburov and Yusupov won gold and silver medals, respectively, in category A epee competitions, and Kuzyukov became a bronze medalist in epee and foil fights in category B.

Among girls, 2 gold medals were won by the representative of Moscow, Irina Mishurova. Irina excelled in foil fights and foil team competitions.

The team also included Alena Evdokimova (Moscow), Julia Maya (Omsk Region / Kaliningrad Region) and Evgenia Sycheva (Moscow).

In addition to the "gold" in the team Evdokimova won "silver" among the category A female epee fencers. Maya won 2 bronze medals - among the category A epee and foil fencers.

Albert Kamalov (Republic of Bashkortostan) became the winner of the competition among foil fencers of category B.

Silver and bronze medals were won by Victoria Boykova (Moscow) - among athletes of category B in fights on foil and epee, respectively.

Silver medals of the World Cup from Konstantin Gridin (Omsk region) - sword category C, Alexander Kurzin (Vologda region) - saber category B and Alexander Kuritsky (Kursk region) - foil category C.

The bronze medalists of the competition were Lyudmila Vasilyeva (Moscow) - foil category B, Oleg Gavrilenkov (St. Petersburg) - foil category A, Timur Hamatshin (Republic of Bashkortostan) - foil category B and Nikita Trofimov (Novosibirsk region) - epee category BUT.
