RUSSIAN SLEDGE HOCKEY PLAYERS WON BRONZE MEDALS AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN CZECH REPUBLIC

The World Sledge Hockey Championship has ended in the Czech Ostrava.

In the match for the bronze medals, the Russian sledge hockey players outplayed the Korean national team with a score of 7: 0.

4 goals on account of the team captain Dmitry Lisov. Vladimir Rychkov, Andrey Sokolov and Nikolai Terentyev scored one goal each.

In the final match of the championship, the US team with a score of 5: 1 defeated Canada.

The bronze medalists of the World Championship were: team captain Dmitry Lisov (Moscow region), Evgeny Plotnikov, Ilya Volkov, Mikhail Myachin, Andrey Sokolov, Nikolay Terentyev, Konstantin Shikhov (all - KhMAO-Yugra), Stanislav Barykin, Andrey Kasatkin, Ivan Kuznetsov, Evgeny Petrov, Airat Khamzin (all - Moscow region), Dmitry Galkin, Vladimir Rychkov (both - Udmurt Republic), Igor Maletsky (Moscow), Ilya Popov (Tula region) and Alexey Eremin (Orenburg region). The senior coach of the team is Honored Coach of Russia Ruslan Batyrshin.

RPC congratulates Russian Sledge Hockey players on winning the quota for participation in the XIII Paralympic Winter Games in 2022 and bronze medals at the World Championships in the Czech Republic.
