Russian Paralympic Checkers Players triumphed at the European Championships & Junior Championship in Belarus

The Russian National Checkers Paralympic Team for the Russian Sport Federation for Person with Physical Impairments and the Federation of Sports for Persons with Visual Impairments triumphed at the European Junior Championship in Belorussian city of Gomel.

Championship were conducted from April 29 up to May 7, 2017.

Tatiana Churuleva from Mordovia Republic, who represented the Russian Sport Federation for Person with Physical Impairments become European Champion among women.

In competitions among players with visual impairments, Elduz Gtaulina from Tatarastan Republic won in class B2-B3 (partially blind) and Lubov Volkova from Bruansk region, become champion in class B1 (totally blind).

In men competitions, Dmitriy Andreev, who reprecented Kostramskoy region won in class B2-B3, second place was taken by Denis Maleev from Kurskaya region. 

Mikhail Krulov, player from Tatarastan Republic becomes European Champion in class B1. Rustam Sadukov also from Tatarastan Republic won bronze.

The Russian National Teams also won first places in team competitions in B1, B2-B3.

In men competitions among juniors ( up to age of 23),Gavril Efremov from  Republic Sakha Yakutia won first place, Ivan Smurkov from Yaroslavskaya region received silver. I women competitions among juniors (up to age of 23), Anastasia Efremova from Republic Sakha Yakutia  won bronze.
