RUSSIAN NATIONAL PARA TAEKWONDO TEAM WON OVERALL MEDAL STANDING OF THE OPEN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN TURKEY

On September 23, Turkey hosted the European Open Para taekwondo Championship.

The Russian national team won 6 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals and won the overall medal standings of the competition.

In the K44 Paralympic class, Russian para-taekwondo fighters each won 4 gold, silver and bronze medals.
Askhat Akmatov (Novosibirsk region, up to 58 kg), Vladimir Feofanov (KhMAO-Yugra, up to 80 kg), Aliskhab Ramazanov (Republic of Dagestan, over 80 kg) and Sholban Kara-ool Jetsun (Moscow, up to 47 kg).

Silver medalists of the competition were Anna Poddubskaya (Krasnodar Territory, up to 52 kg), Evgeny Aliferenko (Republic of Dagestan / Sverdlovsk Region, up to 63 kg), Magomedzagir Isaldibirov (Republic of Dagestan, up to 80 kg) and Bilal Yakhyaev (Chechen Republic, over 80 kg) ...

Bronze medals were won by Arzhan Arbakov (Novosibirsk Region, up to 58 kg), Kadibagama Omarov (Republic of Dagestan, up to 70 kg), Zainutdin Ataev (Republic of Dagestan, over 80 kg) and Karina Raganina (RNO Alania, up to 57 kg).

In the K41 class, Rinat Yakupov (Udmurt Republic, up to 58 kg), Spartak Gazzaev (RNO-Alania, over 80 kg) climbed to the top step of the podium. "Silver" was won by Vladislav Krichfalushiy (Perm Territory, up to 63 kg).
