RPC TOGETHER WITH THE BELGOROD FEDERATION OF ADAPTIVE SPORTS IN THE CITY OF BELGOROD (BELGOROD REGION) HOLD THE PARALIMPIAN LESSON

In Belgorod, the Russian Paralympic Committee, together with the Belgorod Regional Public Organization “Federation of the Deaf Sports, the Sports of the Blind, the Sports of Persons with Disorders of the Musculoskeletal System and the Sports of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities”, held a Paralympic lesson.

In the practical part of the Paralympic lesson, Olga Semenova, 3-time champion of the Paralympic Games in Athletics, Andrei Kuvaev, champion of the Paralympic Soccer Games of 7x7 persons with CP disease, and Irina Kalyanova, 2-time bronze medalist of the Paralympic Games in Blind Sports, held exercises with Paralympic champions.

Olga Semenova noted: “Charging before the Young Paralympic Forum has become a good tradition. Thanks to exercise, children receive a charge of vigor for the whole day. I really liked the atmosphere in which the charge took place. "

Further, in the educational part of the lesson, the chairman of the Executive Committee, the first vice president of the RCC Pavel Rozhkov told the young athletes about the history of the formation and development of the Paralympic movement in Russia and the world, about the sports included in the program of the Paralympic summer and winter games, about the medals won by Russian athletes and others

Young athletes watched a video on the development of the Paralympic movement.

As part of the Paralympic lesson, the 13-time Paralympic Games champion, vice president of the RCC Rima Batalova, Olga Semenova, Andrey Kuvaev and Irina Kalyanova conducted a quiz on knowledge of the history of the Russian Paralympic Committee, performances of Russian Paralympic athletes at international competitions, etc.

At the end of the Paralympic lesson, the famous Russian Paralympics shared their sports success stories and difficulties on the way to champion titles, and young athletes were able to ask interesting questions.
