The Russian Paralympic Committee in Sochi (Krasnodar Region) held the Anti-Doping Training Seminar for the members of the Russian National Sport Team in triathlon for persons with physical Impairments.
The seminar program included the following topics: WADA World Anti-Doping Code; types of anti-doping rule violations; prohibited list of WADA, the therapeutic use of prohibited substances and methods in sport; procedures for doping control, the rights and obligations of athletes; providing whereabouts information in the ADAMS system; investigation of possible Anti-Doping rule violations and rules for testing accessibility of athletes, consequences for athletes and athletes' personnel.
The seminar was held on May 31, 2018 and was attended by 10 athletes and 3 coaches of the Russian National Team.
As a result of the seminar, all 13 members of the National Sport Team in the triathlon of sports of persons with physical Impairments were tested and received certificates.
