RPC carried out an anti-doping seminar in the regional sports center “OKA” in the town of Aleksin (Tula region) for the members of the national teams of sitting volleyball, archery and table tennis for persons with impairments

RPC carried out an anti-doping seminar in the regional sports center “OKA” in the town of Aleksin (Tula region) for the members of the national teams of sitting volleyball, archery and table tennis for persons with impairments.  

The program of the seminar included the following issues: International WADA code, types of anti-doping rule violations, prohibited list of WADA, use of prohibited substances and methods in sport for treatment reasons, doping control procedures, rights and obligations of athletes, presentation of information allocation in the ADAMS system, investigation of possible anti-doping rule violations and accessibility rules for testing, the aftermath for the athlete and his personal.

 

The seminars were held from June 18, till June 20. The participation at the seminars was as follows: 3 athletes and 1 specialist from the national team of sitting volleyball, 6 athletes and 1 specialist form the national team of table tennis for persons with impairments and 12 athletes and 1 specialist from the national team of archery for persons with impairments.

At the end of the seminar, all the 26 members of the Russian National teams successfully passed the testing and received certificates.
