It will be the final one, as a result of which not only the strongest Russian club will be determined, but also the the Russian national team for the European Championship, which will be held from April 16 to 26 this year in Sweden. As you remember, the sledge-hockey club Ugra won  the 1st round of the Russian championship.

Eduard Isakov noted:

"Dear friends! I am glad to welcome you - guests and residents of Khanty-Mansiysk in our hospitable land!

The open international sledge hockey tournament Ugra Cup traditionally unites the most diverse teams from Russia and abroad. And this year the national teams of Poland and Slovakia became our foreign guests! And I would like to thank them for the fact that they were never afraid of Siberian frosts and were always ready for the fight and healthy rivalry on ice.

Today we saw a real male sledge hockey and I would like to thank all the participants for the hard fight and the will to win. You are a real example for young guys who are just taking their first steps on ice - the children's sledge-hockey team “Mammoths of Ugra” and the national team of the Novosibirsk Region.

In recent years, our country has been actively developing children's sledge hockey, teams are being formed, the ability to work on ice with our boys and girls is gradually growing, and children participate in competitions, including international ones. And I'm sure that one day the most motivated and brave of them will become Paralympic champions.

I have always been proud that the Russian sledge-hockey family, it gives strength and self-confidence, teaches you to work in a team, it supports and makes you better. Yugra is one of the founders of sledge hockey in Russia and is rightly proud of the fact that for more than 11 years this amazing and team sport has been developing on its land, in which there are a lot of emotions and a lot of drive. I sincerely want to wish the children who choose this sport - enjoy every minute spent on the ice with your team. They are priceless. I’m sure that choosing sledge hockey you made the right choice. ”

Club  "Ugra" won the tournament, Club "Star" won silver awards, and Orenburg "Hawks" - bronze.

The best scorer of the tournament was Nikolai Terentyev (Club "Ugra"). The title of the best striker was given to Aleksey Eremin (Club “Yastreby”), the best defender - Mikhail Myachin (Club “Ugra”), the best goalkeeper - Alexey Karalkov (SKK “Zvezda”), and Martin Joppa (Team Slovakia) became the most valuable player.

Before the start of the award ceremony, the youth sledge-hockey team “Mammoths of Ugra” and the children and youth team of the Novosibirsk Region went on ice, who held joint game gatherings and friendly matches from February 23 to 25.
