The Chairman of the Governing Board, first Vice President of the RPC Pavel Rozhkov in the offices of RPC met with the President of the sports committee of Tula Region Dmitriy Yakovlev.
During the meeting there were discussed the issue of development of the Paralympic movement and sports among disabled persons and the issue of carrying out a hockey sledge championship in the Regional sports complex “Oka” in the Tula Region from October 15 till 23, 2018.
Particular attention was paid to the training of the Paralympic athletes from Tula Region in tandem cycling, para snowboard, alpine skiing and biathlon for visually impaired persons for the All-Russian and international competitions, including the Paralympic Summer Games 2020 in Tokyo (Japan) and the Paralympic Winter Games of 2022 in Beijing (China).
In the meeting also participated the Secretary General of RPC, the President of All-Russian Sports Federation for persons with physical impairments, five-times champion of Paralympic games Andrey Strokin the vice president of RPC, three-times champion of Paralympic games Olga Semenova.
