In the office of the Russian Paralympic Committee, a meeting of the Certification Commission for head trainers of the Russian sports teams in summer sports of persons with physical impairment was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Commission, Chairman of the Governing Board, First Vice-President of the RPC Pavel Rozhkov.
Head coaches of the Russian national teams in: cycling - Ekaterina Mukhortova, table tennis - Valery Vishnyakov, rowing - Alexander Pyalin (head - Mikhail Prima), chess - Svetlana Gerasimova provided the members of the certification committee with a report on the work done in 2019.
The participants of the Commission discussed questions about the plans for the upcoming sports season, the preparation of the Russian national teams for the XVI Paralympic Summer Games 2020 in Tokyo, the holding of final training camps before the games, equipping the athletes with inventory and equipment, etc.
All head coaches and chiefs of national teams have successfully passed certification and will be recommended for approval for relevant positions at a meeting of the Council of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with physical impairment, which will be held on December 9, 2019.
The Attestation Commission was attended by the General Secretary of the RPC, the President of the All-Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with physical impairment, 5-time Paralympic Games Champion Andrei Strokin, the Honorary Vice-President of the RPC Anatoly Tsarik, the Honorary Vice-President of the RPC, the Honorary President of the Federation Lev Seleznev, the General Director of the All-Russian Federation with physical impairment Raisa Oganisyan , representative of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Center for Sports Training of Russian National Teams”, etc.
