PAVEL ROZHKOV, ANDREY STROKIN AND OLGA SEMENOVA MET WITH THE NATIONAL FIELD AND TRACK ATHLETICS TEAM FOR PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL IMPAIRMENTS AND THE NATIONAL CURLING ON WHEELCHAIR TEAM IN THE SPORTS COMPLEX “NOVOGORSK”

The Chairman of the Governing Board, first vice president of the RPC and head of the RPC Working Groups on preparation of the Russian national teams for the participation in Summer Paralympics 2020 in Tokyo (Japan) and Winter Paralympics 2022 in Beijing (China) Pavel Rozhkov, the Secretary General of RPC, the President of All-Russian Sports Federation for persons with physical impairments, five-times champion of Paralympic games Andrey Strokin and the vice president of RPC, three-times champion of Paralympic games Olga Semenova in the town of Khimki (Moscow Region) in the sports complex of the Ministry of Sports “Novogorsk” met with the national teams on Para Athletics and curling on wheelchairs.

During the meeting there were discussed the issue of reinstatement of RPC in the International Paralympic Committee, the preparation for the Summer Paralympic Games 2020 and the Winter Paralympic Games 2022, the provision of sports equipment and other matters.

The meeting was attended by the head coach of the Russian national Para athletics team, Honored coach of Russia Oleg Kostiuchenko, four-times champion of Paralympic Games on Para Athletics Aleksey Ashapatov, three-times champion of Paralympic Games on Para Athletics Evgenyi Shvetsov, three-times champion of Paralympic Games on Para Athletics Artiom Arefiev, 3-times champion of Paralympic Games on Para Athletics Elena Ivanova, the champions of Paralympic Games on Para Athletics Svetlana Sergeeva, Nicol Rodomakina and Nikita Prokhorov, the silver medalist of Paralympic Games on Para Athletics Aleksey Kyznetsov, the bronze medalist of Paralympic Games on Para Athletics Vladimir Sviridov, the silver medalists of Paralympic Games on curling on wheelchairs Andrey Smirnov, Oksana Slesarenko, Aleksandr Shevchenko and others.
