Chairman of the Governing Board , First Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee, Vice-President Pavel Rozhkov, together with Anton Zhuravlev, Operations Director for the 2020 International Chess Federation, conducted an inspection visit of sports facilities in Khanty-Mansiysk (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Ugra) with the aim of organizing preparations for the 2020 World Chess Olympiad, which will include competitions for athletes with impairments.
Pavel Rozhkov and Anton Zhuravlev examined the Tennis Sports Development Center, the Ice Palace, on the basis of which, from July 30 to August 4, 2020, competitions will be held among disabled people of the World Chess Olympiad.
Earlier, in the Russian Paralympic Committee, a meeting was held between the President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) Arkady Dvorkovich and Pavel Rozhkov where they discussed the preparation and conduct of competitions.
