January 11, 2017 in accordance with the agreements reached at the meeting of the group of RPC specialists headed by Chairman of the Governing Board, First Vice-President of RPC Pavel Rozhkov and IPC specialists headed by the IPC CEO Xavier Gonzalez, held December 20, 2016 at the IPC headquarters, Paralympic Committee of Russia has sent to the International Paralympic Committee tentative draft of the Roadmap on the implementation of the reinstatement criteria.
Tentative draft of the Road Map will be considered by the IPC Taskforce on January 12, 2017, headed by its chair Andy Parkinson (CEO of British Rowing (2015 to present), Executive director of UKAD (2009-2015.) ).
The tentative draft of the Roadmap includes three sections: Organization-wide activities, Anti-doping Activities, Financial provision of reinstatement of RPC membership in the IPC. In total there are 50 paragraphs.
Today, there is a dialogue between the RPC and the IPC that the roadmap includes a list of necessary and sufficient measures and documents, after performance of which, the Reinstatement Criteria would be considered fulfilled. This Roadmap is a specialization of the paragraphs incorporated in the Reinstatement Criteria.
In accordance with the Reinstatement Criteria (dated 21 November 2016) and the agreement reached by the RPC and the IPC (on 20 December 2016) for the purpose of institutional collaboration with the IPC Taskforce , the RPC established a RPC Coordination Committee by the decision of the RPC Governing Committee the RPC Coordination Committee is headed by Andrey Strokin - Secretary General of the RPC, 5-time champion of the Paralympic Games, a member of the Supervisory Board of RUSADA. The Committee is composed by Paralympic champions and specialists in the field of jurisprudence, anti-doping and finances.
