An official meeting with participation of Russian Paralympic Committee’s president Mr.Vladimir Lukin, CEO and first vice-president Mr.Pavel Rozhkov as well as Vietnamese Paralympic Committee’s president and deputy chief of Sport Department in Ministry for sport, culture and tourism of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mr. Pham Van Tuan, vice-president, secretary of Vietnamese Paralympic Committee and chief of Sport Center honored by the name of Ho Chi Min Mr. Pham Ngoc Son, took place in a headquarter of Russian Paralympic Committee.
On this meeting, by both sides were discussed questions concerning the development of Paralympic movement, exchange of experience on how to better organize training camps for national teams of the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
President of Russian Paralympic Committee Mr.Vladimir Lukin, president of Vietnamese Paralympic Committee, deputy chief of Sport Department in Ministry for sport, culture and tourism of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mr. Pham Van Tuan and head of the Committee on developing paralympic movement in the Russian Federation, founder of Parasport Fund Mr.Oleg Boyko signed tripartite Memorandum of Russian-Vietnamese cooperation enlargement for Paralympic sport development at this meeting.
The participants of the meeting also visited the first-ever in history of Russia’s paralympic movement – Museum of Paralympic Sport, Assembly Hall and the conference-hall of Russian Paralympic Committee’s Governing body.
General Secretary of RPC, 5-times Paralympic Champion Mr. Andrey Strokin and member of Russian Paralympic Committee’s Governing body, 3-times Paralympic Champion Mrs. Olga Semenova took part in that meeting.
