Joint meeting of Russian Paralympic Committee’s Committee of International cooperation and Athletes’ Commission took place in a conference-hall of RPC’s Executive Board

Joint meeting were held by General Secretary of RPC, 5-times Paralympic Champion, chief of the Committee of International cooperation Mr. Andrey Strokin and vice-president of RPC, 13-times Paralympic Champion, chief of Athletes’ Commission Mrs.Rimma Batalova. 

Subjects for discussion were as follows: participation of Russia ‘delegates in different meetings and sessions of International Paralympic Committee and International Paralympic sport organizations; holding international sport events on the territory of the Russian Federation and some others.

Following the results, some decisions and resolutions were issued by its members, they are to continue Russia’s delegates activity in working groups of International Paralympic Committee and International Paralympic sport organizations, to increase number of its representatives in the above mentioned bodies, to take an active part in promoting and organizing of international competitions held in Russia (for example, IWAS World Games 2015 in Sochi, 2015 World Cup on wheelchair dancing in Saint-Petersburg etc.).

The meeting were attended by the President of Russian Paralympic Committee Mr.Vladimir Lukin, CEO and first vice-president of Russian Paralympic Committee and vice-president of IWAS Mr.Pavel Rozhkov, vice-president of Russian Paralympic Committee Mr. Anatoliy Tsarik, 6-times Paralympic Champion Mr.Sergey Shilov, 3-times Paralympic Champion Mrs. Olga Semenova, member of the IPC Athletes’ Council, Paralympic Champion Mr.Mikhail Terentiev, president of International Armwrestling Federation, president of Russian association of Armwrestling Sport Mr. Alexander Filimonov, member of the IPC Paralympic Games Committee Mr. Evgeny Buharov and other representatives.
