About 40 coaches in the field of adaptive sport took part in the seminar. Head of the Anti-Doping, Medical and Scientific-Methodological Department of the RPC, chief classifier of the Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairments, Ph.D. in Medical Sciences – Dr. Guzel Idrisova held the seminar.
During the seminar, general concepts and principles of classification in the Paralympic Movement, as well as procedures and physical assessments of athletes were considered. In the practical part of the seminar, the participants independently conducted the classification in table tennis with students of the State Educational Institution “Sports and Adaptive School” of Moscow Sports.
At the end of the seminar, participants who successfully passed the test received the RPC certificates with permission to hold classification in table tennis.
