The Paralympic Committee of Russia, together with the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Belgorod Region and the Belgorod Regional Public Organization “Federation of the Sports of the Deaf, Sports of the Blind, Sports of Persons with Phusical Impairments and Sports of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities” held the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference in Belgorod "Tasks and development paths of the Paralympic movement in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation."
The Conference discussed topical issues of organizational, methodological and material and technical support for Paralympic sports, the experience of organizing classes for people with disabilities, physical education and sports in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, etc.
Welcoming words to the participants were addressed by the President of the Russian Paralympic Committee Vladimir Lukin and the head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Belgorod Region Natalia Zhigalova.
“First of all, I express my gratitude to the leadership of the Belgorod region, the Federation of adaptive sports of the region for the warm welcome of the Russian Paralympic family and the organization of these events! We are extremely pleased that today we all gathered here to discuss urgent problems in the development of our business - the Russian Paralympic movement. Today's meeting is unique in the first place because it brought together leaders and representatives of sports departments from more than 20 subjects of Russia. Thanks to such a wide representation, our conference is gaining great weight in the sports community, and I am sure it will leave a bright mark and help us all in the upcoming work.
Today's conference, we begin two busy days of events aimed at the development of the Paralympic movement in the Russian Federation. Tomorrow we will move from the theoretical foundations of adaptive sports to practice - we will carry out exercises with Paralympic champions, the Anti-Doping Forum of Young Paralympics. Also tomorrow there will be a meeting of the Executive Committee of the RCC, whose members also arrived today with us on Belgorod land.
We know firsthand about the development of the Paralympic movement in the Belgorod Region, and Sergey Ivanovich Fuglaev, President of the Belgorod Regional Public Organization Federation of the Sports of the Deaf, Sports of the Blind, Sports of Persons with Disabilities of the Musculoskeletal System and Sports of People with Intellectual Disabilities, helps us in this difficult matter. . We see in him a reliable partner and ally.
Today's forum was the fourth such event that we have held over the past two years. Last year we held the All-Russian Forum in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, then the Republic of Kalmykia welcomed us hospitably, in September of this year we implemented a large Paralympic program in the Sakhalin Region. In each of the regions, we see a great interest in adaptive sports, which drives many ambitious projects forward - for example, the South Sakhalin slopes will host the World Cup in Paralympic Alpine skiing in February 2020.
The next forum will be hosted by the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra in February 2020. Within the framework of the events, the reporting RCC Conference and the Paralympic Committee “Return to Life” Prize Award Ceremony of the best athletes and coaches of Paralympic sport will be held.
Our mission here today is not only to tell you about the development of the domestic Paralympic movement, but also to receive feedback from you, as from “practitioners” working with athletes and coaches.
Returning to the conference, I can confidently say that the proposed topics of reports and speeches are very important and relevant, they will be presented to us by very respected and authoritative experts, whose opinions we have always listened to, whose opinions have always been considered. Our delegation once again included experts from the most successful and fruitful Paralympic regions of Russia - from Krasnodar to Krasnoyarsk and from Moscow, and to Khanty-Mansiysk. The information that our distinguished speakers will present to you today is unique. Accept her with due respect and feel free to ask questions. I am convinced that the discussion as a whole will be very interesting, it will undoubtedly benefit all who take part in it.
Vice-President of the RCC Sergey Petrovich Evseev was the founder of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex "Ready for work and defense" for the disabled "and today, as part of the Round Table" On the implementation of measures for the implementation of test standards for the All-Russian sports and cultural complex "Ready for labor and defense "For people with disabilities" we can discuss the problems and ways of implementing this project. It will also be interesting to look at the pilot launch of the TRP, which will be held as part of the events.
"I wish all participants of today's forum fruitful work, speakers - courage, and listeners - new knowledge."
