Boris Ivaniuzhenkov is elected as the chairman of the Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairment at the general election Conference which takes place in the Podolsk (Moscow Region) in the Palace of Culture "October".
Boris Ivaniuzhenkov is elected to the position of the chairman of the Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairment for the next four-year term.
Boris Ivanyuzhenkov holds the post of of the chairman of the Russian Federation of Sports for Persons with Physical Impairment since 2006.
He is an honorary rector of the Podolsky Social and Sports Institute.
In 1996 he organized the Central Sports Club "Vityaz" in Podolsk and was elected its President. Now the club has about 5000 people. 29 kinds of sports are cultivated: football, hockey, boxing, Greco-Roman wrestling, basketball, figure skating, tennis, cross-country skiing, athletics, etc.
In 2006 he was elected vice-president of the Russian Paralympic Committee.
Currently he is vice-president of the Russian Paralympic Committee, a member of the Board of the Russian Hockey Federation, honorary president of the central sports club Vityaz in Podolsk.
He was awarded the Order of Friendship (2017), the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, I degree (2014), the second degree (1997), the Honorary Diplomas of the President of the Russian Federation (2010, 2011) and other state and departmental awards.
