All-Russian Forum on Development of Paralympic Movement will be held in Krasnoyarsk

On 4-6 December 2018 in Krasnoyarsk within the frames of International Decade of Persons with Disabilities, Russian Paralympic Committee align with Ministry of Sport of Krasnoyarsk Krai and regional Center of Sport Preparation in Adaptive Sports in Krasnoyarsk Krai will hold the All-Russian Forum on Development of Paralympic Movement in Russian Federation (hereinafter –Forum).

On the first day of the Forum, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Challenges and Prospects for the Development of the Paralympic Movement in the Russian Federation" will be held, where an international expert appointed by WADA to work in RUSADA Eva Lukoshyute-Stanikunene, Deputy Director General of RUSADA for International and Anti-Doping Issues Margarita Pakhnotskaya, Head of the Department of Anti-Doping, Medical and Scientific-Methodological Support of the RPC, Candidate of Medical Sciences Guzel Idrisova.

On the second day of the Forum, the Siberian Forum of Young Paralympians will be held in order to promote anti-doping measures promote zero-tolerance to doping among young para athletes from the Siberian Federal District, including candidates for the national sports teams of Russia in Paralympic sports, promoting Paralympic values, and developing sports for persons with disabilities. Heads and representatives of the Ministry of Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Russian Paralympic Committee, WADA, RUSADA, Paralympic champions and medalists, World and European champions and others will speak to young para athletes.

As part of the Siberian Young Paralympic Forum, educational interactive lectures on sports values, basic anti-doping rules and responsibility for their violation, an educational quiz "Outreach" and games on anti-doping topics will be held. The separate seminar on anti-doping rules for parents and coaches of disabled children will be held.
