In Leogang, Austria from February 16 to 19, the starts of the IPC Para Alpine Skiing World Cup Stage are taking place.
In the first two days of the competition, races were held in Giant Slalom.
Alexey Bugaev, a representative of Moscow and the Sakhalin Region, won gold and silver medals.
On the first day, Alexey crossed the track in 1 minute 45.92 seconds and got ahead of French athlete Arthur Bauchet by 1.57 seconds, and Austrian Marcus Salcher by 3.24 sec.
On the second day in the first run, Alexey showed the best time. However, during the second descent, he made a technical mistake and finished with the second final result.
Arthur Bauchet took the first place and the third place took Marcus Salcher.
Alexey Mikushin (Kamchatka Territory) and Alexander Alyabyev (Moscow / Sakhalin Region), following the results of two competition days, took fourth and fifth places, respectively.
Slalom races will take place on 18 and 19 February.
