19 GOLD, 20 SILVER AND 25 BRONZE MEDALS WON THE RUSSIAN TEAM AT THE FINAL STAGE OF THE IPC WORLD CUP IN CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING AND BIATHLON IN FINLAND

In Vuokatti, Finland, the final stage of the World Cup in cross-country skiing and biathlon of the International Paralympic Committee for the sports season 2020/2021 has ended.

The Russian national team won 64 medals - 19 gold, 20 silver and 25 bronze medals and took first place in the medal standings.

The national team of the Republic of Belarus is in second place with 4 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.

On March 25 and 26, biathlon sprint races and individual races took place, which brought our team 7 gold, 5 silver and 10 bronze medals.

Vladislav Lekomtsev (Udmurt Republic), Vera Khlyzova (Tyumen region, sports leader Natalya Yakimova) and Ivan Golubkov (Moscow / Komi Republic) won two gold medals.

The representative of the Tyumen region Stanislav Chokhlaev with the guide Oleg Kolodiychuk won the individual races and became the silver medalists in the sprint.

Natalya Kocherova from Moscow won silver at two distances.

Danila Britika (Moscow) won the silver medal in the sprint and the bronze medal in the individual races.

Vitaly Malyshev (Moscow Region) won silver in the sprint.

Twice Ekaterina Rumyantseva (Moscow), Ivan Kodlozerov (Arkhangelsk region) and Yulia Smirnova with the presenter Eduar Berezin (Tyumen region) climbed to the third step of the podium.

Irina Gulyaeva (Moscow), Marta Zainullina (Republic of Tatarstan) and Nikolai Polukhin each with a guide Eduard Berezin (Tyumen region).
