11 Russian Athletes will take part in Wheelchair Dancing World Cup in Italy

The World Cup in Wheelchair Dancing will take place in Genoa (Italy) from 4 to 6 June.

The competition will be the first international paralympic dance competition since the start of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.

In 2020, Genoa was supposed to host the European Championship, but it was canceled.

The Russian national team at the competition will be represented by 11 athletes who will take part in 14 out of 20 types of programs.

More than 150 participants from 7 countries of the world, including Brazil, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Slovenia, Ukraine, applied for the World Cup.

On June 4 and 5, the competition will begin at 16:00 Moscow time. June 6, on the final day of the competition, the broadcast starts at 12:00.

The composition of the Russian national team: Sergey Antonov, Anna Bogatyreva, Nikolai Gapon, Maxim Sedakov, Galina Ryzhkova, Daria Panova and Anastasia Ponamareva (all St. Petersburg), Yulia Davydova and Elena Zamyslova (Perm Territory), Yuri Vishnevsky (Republic of Tatarstan) and Igor Davydov (Sevastopol).
